MSD - Multi-Sensor Dimmer and Switches MSD's are switching or dimming in dependence of motion and daylight. Lighting turns ON if motion is detected, however only if the natural light level falls below the set threshold value. Lighting turns OFF as soon as the natural light level exceeds the set value, provided motion is detected. The Multi-Sensor Dimmer (MSD) keeps the light level constant. It adds only as much artificial light to the daylight as it is necessary to achieve the set light level, provided motion is detected. Delay times as well as the activation/deactivation of motion detection can be set at the MSD module itself. The light level to be kept constant however also can be set with a remote pushbutton which also is suitable for the manual control (BRIGHTER-DARKER-ON/OFF) of the connected lighting. The Multi-Sensor Light Switch (MS-LRS) switches the light in dependence of motion detection and a threshold light level to be set at the module or with a remote potentiometer. It also switches ventilators, air-conditioners, heating, blinds etc.. MSD and MS-LSR both are well-suited for the integration into EIB-, DALI-, and building automation systems of different kind. With Multi-Sensor controls energy savings in lighting are possible up to an extent of 70 %. They are reducing maintenance cost by extending the service life of lamps. |
